Read the product information together
Match the color name and product code across the listing, sample and quote. Check carton coverage, installation method and included backing. Save the specification sheet so the installer can review the same product you intend to order rather than a similar-looking collection.
Check accessories before checkout
Transitions, stair nosing and matching trim may need separate orders. Ask whether those components are available in the same finish and how their timing compares with the floor. Missing trim can delay completion even when every flooring carton is already onsite.
Plan receipt and inspection
Confirm where the delivery can be placed, who will be present and what access is required. Inspect packaging and material promptly, documenting concerns before installation. Keep order records and follow the seller’s process for reporting an issue with the shipment.
Plan your next step
Bring your room measurements, a few photos and your preferred materials to the conversation. Unique Custom Floors can help you compare flooring and plan your purchase in Tampa Bay. Confirm installation scope and availability, product requirements and delivery details for your specific address before scheduling the work.
