Review perimeter details
Ask how clearances will be maintained and concealed at walls, cabinets and other fixed objects. Do not assume every edge can be finished by pressing the flooring tightly against the surrounding surface. The correct treatment depends on the product and its installation instructions.
Plan connected spaces
Long runs, room changes and narrow doorways may need particular transitions. Have the installer review the floor plan before ordering matching profiles. A continuous appearance is a design goal, but it should not override the requirements of the selected installation system.
Approve the finishing pieces
Compare trim color, height and shape with the adjacent material. Ask where each profile will be placed and how it will be attached. Clear decisions before installation produce a more deliberate look than choosing whatever is available after the floor is finished.
Plan your next step
Bring your room measurements, a few photos and your preferred materials to the conversation. Unique Custom Floors can help you compare flooring and plan your purchase in Tampa Bay. Confirm installation scope and availability, product requirements and delivery details for your specific address before scheduling the work.
