Prepare a suitable storage area
Follow the product’s storage instructions and keep cartons protected from weather and unrelated construction work. Ask the installer where the material should be kept before installation. Avoid placing it wherever space happens to be available if the conditions do not match manufacturer requirements.
Count and document the shipment
Check the collection, color and carton count against the order. Photograph damaged packaging and follow the reporting instructions promptly. Keeping delivery records together with the product information makes it easier to resolve a concern before anyone starts installing the floor.
