Confirm a suitable stair system
Ask whether the collection has approved stair components and how they will be installed. Treads, nosing and risers must work together. Do not assume that a plank intended for a room floor can be attached to a stair in the same way.
Review dimensions and transitions
Adding materials can change the relationship between steps and adjoining floors. Have the installer evaluate the stair geometry and any applicable requirements. A visually neat edge should not come at the expense of a properly planned stair assembly.
Check matching pieces and timing
Compare accessory finishes before approving the order. Stair components may have different availability from the main flooring. Confirm quantities and installation details early so the stairs do not become the unfinished part of an otherwise completed renovation.
Plan your next step
Bring your room measurements, a few photos and your preferred materials to the conversation. Unique Custom Floors can help you compare flooring and plan your purchase in Tampa Bay. Confirm installation scope and availability, product requirements and delivery details for your specific address before scheduling the work.
